Are Electric Cars Safe?
Electric cars undergo the same road safety tests as gas cars and are legally permitted to drive on the road. Electric cars have all of the standard safety features that gas cars have, including airbags, impact warning alerts, lane assist warnings, car seat clamps, etc. All electric cars are covered by road side assistance packages and, in the case of an accident, all electric cars have automatic battery cut-offs. It can be argued that electric cars are actually safer than gas cars, because gasoline is combustible and flammable.
